Yes To Grapefruit and Cucumber
Yes To! That’s what’s I’m impressed with this month, because I have made new best friends with their Grapefruit Uneven Skin Tone CC Cream, and Cucumber Soothing Face Wipes.
For about a year I have been fully devoted to Madara Moonflower Rose Beige Tinting Fluid (and quite rightly so, it’s rather lovely) and I was actually a bit nervous that using a different tinting cream would make my skin have an adverse reaction… thankfully not, and I have been happily reaching for it most days.
What is quite nice about the Yes To Grapefruit CC Cream when compared with the Madara Moon Flower Tinting Fluid, is that it’s texture is that bit thicker with a creamy, buttery consistency. For the super cold winter, this one has been so nice and comfortable to wear. It’s a great primer before applying my loose mineral foundation powder, gliding over the skin so smoothly and gives that little bit of extra coverage (much appreciated during my latest outbreak of cystic acne).
Can I get a Hallelujah from all the pale girls, as this CC cream in the light shade matches fair skin! This is always one of my worries with buying foundation powders as well, as I have had countless times when the ‘lightest’ shade arrives in the post and it’s too dark. Nobody wants to walk around with an orange face.

Side by side with the Madara tinting fluid, the ingredients list isn’t as completely green, though at 95% natural ingredients I’m happy with this and my skin hasn’t reacted so that must be a good sign!
I’m not normally a face wipe girl. Ever since using conventional face wipes caused my face to become parched like the Kalahari Desert, I have avoided them at all costs. These Yes To Cucumber Face Wipes however, don’t contain any alcohol and are made with 98% natural ingredients including cucumber, aloe vera, and green tea extract. I’m now a convert to the natural face wipe, using these lately on the days I press the snooze button a little to many times in the morning (who gets up without pressing snooze!?).
Since I’m still living at home, it’s a battle for the bathroom when everyone is getting ready for work and school, so these have been so handy for cleaning my hands after applying CC Cream to my face. To be honest I don’t use them on my face (I religiously oil cleanse every night), but I still find them useful to have around – I also like to keep them in my car because you never know when you need a wet wipe!
Has anyone else tried these products or any other from the Yes To range? And what about face wipes for removing make-up – yay or nay for delicate skin? Let me know your thoughts or tweet me 🙂
