Green People Volumising Mascara

Green People Volumising Mascara

The other week I posted a quick first impressions of a few Green People talc-free make-up things, and also promised to fully review each product individually, so here we are… my review of the Green People Volumising Mascara*!

I have to say, this mascara has completely taken top spot in my natural mascara collection since I first used it! Whilst I don’t have the largest stash of mascara, I have been using this wonderful Green People Volumising Mascara in Black pretty much everyday. It does everything it promises, and truly creates thicker-looking beautiful wispy lashes with no clumping or crumbling.

Green People Volumising Mascara ReviewClinique High Impact Extreme Volume Dupe

Looking at the packaging I noticed how the Green People mascara looks very similar to my old Clinique High Impact favourites. The Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume and the Green People mascara both have similarly shaped mascara wands with plastic bristles, albeit the Clinique brush head being about 25% bigger; though I always thought it was unnecessarily large unless you have giant eyeballs, and makes it ridiculously difficult not to make a mess of the lower lashes (to help sell their minuscule lower lash mascara maybe?) The consistency and finish are very similar too, with the natural and organic mascara giving just as “high impact” lashes as it’s high-end counter-part!

So if you used to have a love for high-end cosmetics, and are in the market for a natural option without compromising on big fluttery lashes, you will probably love this! (It seems to be a popular choice with other natural and organic make-up loving women, as this mascara has 81 glowing reviews on the Green People website!) Both mascaras have the same price point of £14.95.

For Day & Night

For those like me that like the minimal/natural make-up look, and for the fair-skinned and fair-haired girl who might want something more natural-looking than jet-black lashes – Green People also have this mascara in a brown-black shade (which is high on my wish list) 🙂

I’d also recommend using this mascara in combination with eyelash curlers for extra volume (I do this everyday!) The Volumising Mascara does a wonderful job of holding the curl all day and all night, and even better, the volume created after just one coat is amazing. I don’t usually like plastic bristles, but I love the one on this mascara as it combs and separates the lashes like a dream (yes, I compared my mascara to a dream…) and I don’t have to worry about it clumping at all or making me look like a manga cartoon girl. Basically this is the best mascara in the whole entire universe!!
