Champagne and Raspberry Makeup Look
As my make-up has been quite low-key lately, I thought I’d try and bring back a little glam! My family and I were heading out for lunch together for a New Year’s meal, so it was the perfect excuse to use my Bellápierre Everyday Shimmer Kit in Pretty Woman to create a lovely champagne-shimmery eye-look paired with red raspberry lips 🙂
My base for the foundation is the same as usual (my everyday makeup routine explains it all!) – I use my Madara tinting fluid in Moon Flower Rose Beige and applied using my fingers. I then buffed in my Lily Lolo Blondie mineral foundation loose powder using my Cargo Magic Brush. Contouring under my cheekbones and around my face using BareMinerals warmth, using my RealTechniques flat-top brush, is my final step on my face make-up.
First step, I always do my eyebrows first! I use my trusted Inika eyebrow pencil in Blonde and brush through using a spoolie. On the eyelids I applied the Bellápierre make-up base – much like a balm, it feels quite nice put on!
I then used the eyeshadow brush that came with the set, to pack on the lightest ‘Champagne’ highlighter shade on the inside-half of my eyelids, the inner corner of eyes and a little along the inside-half of my bottom lash line.
For the outer-half of my eyelids, I then packed on the gold shade ‘Earth’ and buffed out the outer edges using a clean fluffy eyeshadow brush. I made sure to really add as much as I could, to prevent it fading quickly.
To line my eyes, I tight-lined my upper and lower lash lines using my Lily Lolo eyeliner pencil in brown, and softly lined the top lash-line and outer corners. I then took the darkest eye-shimmer shade, ‘Cocoa’ to gently pack on top of the eyeliner on top of my lashes but only on the outer-third of my eyelids. I brought this down to the outer-third of my lower lash-line.
Finally I curled my lashes as per my usual ritual! And then applied a few liberal coats of my Borlind Mascara in black to the top and lower lashes.
To make it more dramatic for an evening look, simply add more of the darker Bellápierre eye-shimmer shade, cocoa, and a thicker application of eyeliner – either pencil or liquid. Please let me know if you try this champagne and raspberry makeup look, or have tried this Everyday Shimmer Kit too!
